The Role
Full time role working Monday to Friday
As part of our Hotel Services team, your role as Head Chef includes managing all operational requirements in a commercial kitchen, with the support of a dedicated team.
- Cooking high quality, nutritious meals for senior residents
- Adapting dishes to suit dietary, allergy and modified food requirements
- Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation
- Managing employee matters including rostering, training and performance
- Assisting the Residential Manager with associated budgets and costs

To be successful, you will have
- Certificate IV Commercial Cookery or similar
- Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen in aged care or hospital
- Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Demonstrated experience managing team performance
- Complete a police check
- Evidence of Australian work rights
- COVID vaccination
- Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
